Hi, my name is Julie. I have worked with individuals and couples seeking to cope with a variety of challenges. Areas that I specialize in are anxiety disorders, trauma, and new transitions. I am trained in phase 1 & 2 of Brainspotting and in EMDR. These techniques help us process into the subcortical levels of our brain to experience deeper and longer lasting healing. I am available to provide a Christian counseling perspective, but I love working with clients from any walk of life. With over 25 years of counseling experience, I have developed a passion for working with people who have experienced challenges related to substance abuse, the criminal justice system, the child welfare system, gender identity, and being LGBTQ+. I also love helping people with anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, bipolar disorder, ADHD, excessive anger, unresolved trauma, grief, PTSD, and many other mental health needs. As an eclectic therapist, I use a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, REBT, and SFBT, and am in the process of becoming certified in DBT.

Danielle Thrush is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a School Counselor with a Master of Science Degree in Community Mental Health and School Counseling from Fort Hays State University. Danielle specializes in working with children ages 4-13 and some teens in her private practice. Danielle was also in education for 14 years as a school counselor and teacher in Wichita Public Schools. While working with a specialized Positive Behavior Support program in Wichita Public Schools, Danielle gained experience in working with children exhibiting aggression, self-injurious behaviors, and many whom experienced severe trauma.
