I have extensive experience working closely with individuals who face life stressors and/or mental health symptoms/diagnoses that include but are not limited to the following: anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, trauma in childhood and/or adulthood, children/adult children of addicts, grief/loss, defiant behaviors, emotional dysregulation, relationship/marital stress, and family conflict. I provide individual therapy sessions, as well as couples therapy sessions, and family therapy sessions.
I utilize an array of theoretical frameworks/approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Therapy, and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). I also implement key components of psychoanalysis to help establish connections from past trauma to behaviors of the present.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental, and calm environment to ensure feelings of comfort and safety throughout the therapeutic healing journey. My main goal is to help all individuals heal from the distress, hardships, and trauma they've experienced so individuals can move forward in their lives and become the best version of themselves.
