I work with adults struggling to overcome life’s struggles. Life can be hard and it is harder with the expectations put on us by society, social media, and mostly ourselves. Many times throughout life we face uncertainties about the path we have set out on. I offer collaborative strategies to explore emotions and to develop coping skills and tools to move forward in a way that creates more self compassion and self awareness. I use solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which have been proven effective in helping clients achieve their goals and improve overall well-being. I am adept at identifying and addressing negative thinking patterns, teaching coping skills, and helping develop positive behaviors to replace the negative cycle one can be stuck in.
Dealing with life transitions, stress, anxiety, and depression is something you don’t have to do alone. I have found that using psychoeducation along with talk therapy helps to better understand ourselves and gain a more wholistic perspective on your situation.
