The human experience is interesting to say the least - the suffering, joy, compassion, anger that we experience. Although all of us have our individual journeys and unique experiences, we're able to find connection with one another. As a therapist being able to connect with my clients and helping them navigate through the struggles in their journey, as well as celebrate their accomplishments, is something I consider to be special. I believe that all of us have unique strengths and have potential to find those strengths.
I have experience treating a variety of presenting concerns, including depression, grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, personality disorders, issues related to diversity, etc. I believe in helping my clients identify their strengths and build on those, recognizing the holistic person, and in the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
I work with ages 13 and older, and offer both in person and telehealth sessions. I am accepting new clients. I believe that every person has value and deserves to find that value in themselves, and that everyone deserves to have support and encouragement. Therapy is a space to grow and heal; it's always an honor to be on that journey with my clients.
