Hi, my name is Kristin Miller. I am an LCSW who has been in the field for 25 years. I have worked with families who have children with various medical diagnoses. I have also worked with adoptive families, foster children, and adopted children. As well as parents who have children that are neurodiverse. I also have worked with people who have anxiety and women dealing with various issues in their lives. I have also supported people struggling with self-esteem and confidence and helped them find their voice and true self. My approach to therapy is to meet folks where they are and work together to meet your needs.
I work with a variety of clients. The areas that I work with the most are folks who have anxiety, issues with self-esteem, and stress. I also work with parents and parents who are parenting neurodiverse children. I work with women and the various issues that women have in their lives.
In our first session together, we start with introductions and discuss what brought a person into therapy. We talk about thoughts on what is the hope for the therapy. We also talk about positive and possible negative experiences with therapy and leave time for questions about what to expect.
