An integral part of healing stress and trauma is connecting with and befriending the body. I support clients in finding a sense of safety, embodiment, and connection within themselves as a basis for healing, growth and self-discovery. When we have support to feel, express, and release emotion, space for new possibilities opens up. I'm honored to hold space for that to happen. Recently, I've been deeply inspired by Hakomi Therapy, a mindfulness-based method — I will complete the two-year post-graduate program in March 2025. I am a clinical social worker, as well as certified in both Kripalu Yoga and Somatic Expressive Therapy.
I'm eager to work with clients who are interested in exploring the layers of their experience while in a state of mindfulness, which includes deep listening, creative explorations, and following what happens next — whether a sensation, impulse, memory, or image. This gentle, transformative process helps to uncover limiting unconscious beliefs and habits.
I'm honored to work with clients in realizing deeper truths that lead to freedom in the mind, body, and heart. I meet clients where they are and support them to take small steps toward a different way of being, bringing warmth and a gentle sense of humor to sessions.
