At this time, I am NOT able to take any new clients. My ideal client is a person or family who is seeking change and who is looking for a therapist with an energetic, actively-involved, solution-focused style. When working with children, I use play therapy and will invite parents to play with us while teaching them what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. I will also teach the parents how to reinforce the same skills at home through play or other techniques. When working with teens and adults, I adjust my style in order to build a connection.
I have extensive experience working with adults, as well as children ages 3 and up, and their families. When it comes to children, one of my interests is Special Education supports and laws, including IEPs, and 504s. I am well-versed in working with multi-disciplinary care-planning teams. I also have experience with adolescent substance abuse counseling.
