Life throws each of us curve balls we don't expect. I have supported clients managing substance abuse issues, immigration related assessment needs, as well as depression, anxiety, and stress. I have experience working with teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities. I have found that therapy can benefit people in many circumstances. Each of us is familiar with the need to put in consistent work and effort when we are learning a new skill at work or getting into good physical shape--developing strong mental health skills requires the same effort. I am here to help along the way!
I begin with a comprehensive assessment to identify your skills as well as your challenges. Working from a Cognitive Behavioral framework, we will work on solution-focused skill building. Together we can reframe the negative thoughts and emotions we all experience, and develop skills to approach life's stressful events with balance and perspective.
