I always felt like I didn't get the memo on how to “do” life. As a nonbinary, Trans person from the Midwest who transitioned in their 40's, I've spent the better part of my adult life unlearning and resolving harmful messages and beliefs. You may think, "Do I need to be trans to have a trans therapist?" The answer is no. The benefit is that I come from a judgment free position, and a lot of varied life experiences. What you can expect is a safe, authentic, and sometimes silly space (with pop culture references) where we collaborate to find real relief, and solutions unique to you, and peace that lasts a lifetime.
Together we will process unconscious themes, identify how your past is informing your present. By providing you with mindfulness, and cognitive skills, you will have a full tool box to use in between sessions. I also provide EMDR therapy. EMDR helps speed up the recovery process by accessing unresolved trauma that has been stored in your mind and body.
I also offer Ketamine assisted therapy to assist you with the integration of the medicine, and Somatic Attachment Therapy. If you are curious about therapy, I invite you to be just that — curious. “Through the greatest confusion comes the greatest clarity."
