I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I am currently pursuing additional training to become a certified Dance/Movement Therapist. Dance/Movement Therapy uses the body and movement to promote an embodied sense of wholeness and well-being. I am able to provide this form of therapy under supervision of a board certified Dance/Movement therapist. Additionally, I have completed an intensive training in EMDR and am able to perform EMDR therapy with clients.
I am able to use a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Dance/Movement Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Play Therapy. I often use an eclectic approach that meets the client where they are at during each session.
Therapy can be intimidating. I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from having a trusting and healthy therapeutic relationship. Remember, you are the expert of your own life.
