I believe in the power of having strong, healthy relationships. I work to help you strengthen those relationships by creating a safe, collaborative environment in which to experience and explore change. I believe that we all have strengths and work to highlight and build on those strengths. I currently see couples and individual adults . Issues that present themselves in my office include relationship struggles around infidelity, poor communication, conflict, blended family, parenting, depression and anxiety.
My couples work uses a theory called Emotionally Focused Therapy. This method of working with couples is not skills based, but rather focuses on strengthening the connection between partners. This method of working with couples has a high success rate and is backed by years of research to validate its effectiveness.
