I specialize in working with women with eating disorders, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, and trauma (of all kinds). I use a relational, collaborative counseling approach to work together to identify your own specific goals of what it looks like to “feel better.” As a therapist, I am committed to establishing a safe place for you to process current struggles, identify and explore deeper “root issues,” and improve your coping and daily functioning. I have 10 years of experience working with clients and families, and additional training in each of the areas of speciality.
I have experience with adolescents, adults, groups, and families at all levels of care. I am trained in EMDR and utilize it as a supplement for trauma work, when appropriate and desired by the client. I am also trained with Postpartum Support International in working with pregnancy and postpartum challenges and diagnoses.
