I operate on the notion that everybody has the ability to be their best self. However, this often comes with many of life's obstacles and defeating such obstacles can be challenging. I can help individuals restore their confidence to overcome hardships and rediscover the tools to finding happiness. I help my clients identify specific barriers to achieving their goals and help work through them to regain the ability to lead a fulfilling life.
I have worked with many individuals including adults struggling with anxiety, depression, alternative sexual lifestyles, and trauma as well as teens having difficulty with body image and self-esteem issues, relationship problems, suicidal ideation/self-injury, and LGBTQ issues. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I have had experience working on a crisis response team which consisted of providing immediate mental health services to those in need. Often times, this required responding to hospitals, residences, schools, and police stations. Taking the first step to receiving help is not easy, but you do not have to do it alone!
