“What we call human nature in actuality is human habit.” —Jewel. Our lives are a summation of moment to moment decisions. As such, they can become slightly to severely complicated. I specialize in EMDR work but take a holistic approach to ensure my clients are “living their best life” by making great choices to thrive and become autonomous in their own lives. Sometimes mental health problems are merely just bad choices problems. I strive to help clients "get out of their own way" and make choices most conducive to allowing the human experience heal and progress, by re-aligning with nature via lifestyle choices!
I have interest/experience with children/families, teens, and adults—providing help with self-care for counselors and other working professionals, self-care/psycho-ed for those with autoimmune disease/mood disorders conjoining nutrition and mental health, addictions—like digital/screen addictions, anxiety/depression, and those struggling with grief/loss.
I also work with traumas like PTSD, perfectionist issues, and issues such as anger mgt, sleep hygiene for disrupted circadian rhythms, and nutrition/lifestyle choices for those interested in weight loss or mood enhancement. I find my profession a privilege and an honor to work with people together to create a life you don't need to regularly escape from!
