The majority of my adult clients identify as female, and are early thirties to mid sixties. Subjects that bring people in to see me for therapy are life transitions, upheavals, anxiety, depression, divorce, parenting, and mid-life struggles. I see teens and young adults adjusting to independence from family, friendship challenges, mental health challenges, body dysmorphia, identity, self image, and anxiety and/or depression. Together we discuss what brought them to this point in life, what their expectations may be, and how to move forward. I also incorporate art therapy in my practice and use it as part of the therapeutic process.
I offer talk therapy, incorporating mindfulness and art therapy when applicable. I am a parent and a breast cancer survivor which gives me lived experience in those arenas. I love helping to heal childhood wounds, bringing a sense of empowerment to client lives, and helping them to see a way though the challenging times.
I lived in the Middle East as a child, and enjoy learning about other cultures and mental health in relationship to them. I am a single mom to a neurodivergent young adult. She teaches me new things every day! I adore art, and make quite a bit of my own as a therapeutic practice in my life. I have lived in Colorado since the mid 90s and I LOVE it!
