I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who specializes in child therapy, utilizing a polyvagal approach that integrates play, art, and sensory modalities to facilitate healing and growth. My therapeutic journey has been enriched through a Certificate in Play Therapy from MidAmerica Nazarene University and training at the EMDR Institute, with child specific specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trained in many additional evidence-based practice modalities.

At the heart of my practice is a deep commitment to empowering children to express themselves by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can explore their emotions, heal from past wounds, and cultivate resilience and confidence. Thus, fostering children’s voices, to ensure they feel seen, heard, and valued.

Guided by multi-sensory engagement, a cornerstone of my therapeutic approach is the belief that all behavior is a form of communication. This belief guides my practice as I strive to uncover the underlying messages behind behaviors and empower children to express themselves in healthy and constructive ways.
