I take the role of an advocator, supporter, and non-judgmental listener. I work with those who have the hope to seek growth, change, and well-being in their lives. I strive to focus on supporting those who seek healing from difficult traumas, hurtful loss, heartache, and any incongruencies that they see are damaging their lives. This can be evident for the young and older, the sexual or gender minority, and any culture or race. Clients need a safe place to share their unique world and it is my goal to provide that. When we feel safe, un-biasedly heard and embrace a healthy vulnerability....true self-growth occurs.
There are times where we may take a hands-on approach, and there are times where we may just talk through it. I have developed a passion for supporting adolescents, teenagers, and young adults in navigating areas from LGBTQ+, to future Career/College aspirations. In addition, I have built experience in couple, family, and drug/alcohol abuse counseling.
I do not have all the answers, but I will do my best to help you figure out what the best one is for you. A passion of mine is supporting others and I believe that each person has their own unique experience along their journey in life. Sometimes that road is tough and we may take detours, but counseling can help maintain the goals or destination you seek.
