My goal as a therapist is to assist you in developing skills to help you thrive in life, feel grounded, and have a sense of peace and happiness. I strive to not only listen but to truly hear your thoughts and feelings. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings providing individual, family, and group therapy. I have worked successfully with individuals who suffer stress-induced traumas, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violence, sexual abuse, anxiety, and depression.
I take an eclectic approach, guiding each client case by case, as no individual is the same. Building rapport with my clients is the foundation of a great working relationship. It is essential to work at my client's level and pace without putting pressure on disclosing difficult information.
Kogan Counseling Services offers yoga to assist you through your healing process and are the perfect extension of your therapy. Trauma-sensitive yoga aims to promote your mental health through self-discovery, embodied healing, and meaningful mindfulness.
