I come from a culture where there is a strong stigma around seeking help for mental health. I understand the courage it takes to look for a therapist and show up to the first session. As a therapist, I provide a safe space for you to process your emotions and develop coping skills to manage them. My work also revolves around exploring early childhood experiences and helping clients to understand how it impacts on their relationships. I am specialized in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss.
I previously worked for the UCSF Department of Psychiatry, providing culturally sensitive therapy to clients coming from diverse backgrounds. I have experience working with children, teenagers, adults, and families.
