This client should be committed to attending therapy sessions regularly, keeping appointments, and actively engaging in the therapeutic process to manage or overcome their diagnosis.
If the client is diagnosed with anxiety, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) would be used. In CBT for anxiety, the focus is on identifying and challenging negative thoughts that contribute to anxiety. By helping the client develop more adaptive ways of coping with stressors, CBT can effectively reduce symptoms and improve their overall well-being.
