I have over a decade of experience working with people from all backgrounds. In particular I love working with teachers, therapists, nurses, and others in helping professions to manage stress, burnout, boundary setting, and vicarious trauma. I am also passionate about providing clinical supervision for pre-licensed or licensed clinicians focused on burnout prevention and honing clinical skills for trauma focused care. My style is described as warm and friendly and I find humor a vital tool as we navigate challenging waters together.
I have extensive experience working with complex trauma and dissociation. I am influenced strongly by EMDR, parts work, polyvagal theory, and psychodynamic theories but most importantly I use a person centered and relational approach that embodies respect, inclusivity, honesty, cooperation, and humility.
