Hi, I'm Kirsten and I'm a licensed social worker in Maryland! I appreciate you seeking support for yourself, and honored you came across my page. In my time in the mental health field, I have worked in crisis prevention/intervention and have substantial experience in suicide prevention and suicide loss. Alongside this experience, I have had years in providing therapeutic support to anyone seeking services in an outpatient mental health clinic and substance use agency, no matter their diagnosis or their reason for seeking support. This includes work with children, teens, and adults across the lifespan.
While I have been formally trained in a variety of areas, I believe that therapy should be something that works for you and tailored to what you deem most important for you and your life. I am always open to discussing with you what might be helpful and how therapy can be as beneficial to you as possible!
