Hello and welcome! If you are feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed or depressed, or struggling with ADHD/executive dysfunction, OCD, relationship issues or life transitions, I am here to help. I work with children, teens and young-mid adults, and particularly enjoy working with athletes and high achievers. Clients leave our sessions with the skills to improve their functioning, well-being or performance, in addition to better understanding the root cause(s) of their difficulties. In turn, they experience an increase in their self-esteem as well as their confidence in navigating life stressors.
I approach therapy with warmth, validation, and humor, and would describe my approach as active and strengths-based. You can expect to feel comfortable just being yourself without judgement, and to better understand how your past experiences impact your current behaviors. You will also learn effective skills to improve your well-being in the here and now.
It's great that you are on this path toward self-improvement for yourself or your child. Take the next step by reaching out to discuss your goals and how I may be able to help you achieve them. My main priority is for you to obtain the help and support you deserve, so if we aren't a good fit, I will do my best to connect you with someone who is!
