Aloha, I'm Kiri Siu and I'm a LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist), CA MFT-48995. I take a trauma-informed, feminist, client-centered approach in working primarily with women who have been victims of sexual violence and domestic violence. I use an eclectic approach when working with clients. I do not feel that any of us belong in a box, so I am adaptive and flexible. I use trauma-informed, feminist, and EMDR as my primary approach. I have also used an IFS, solution-focused, and psychodynamic approach. I enjoy learning and continue to find useful training to enhance my services.
I am most comfortable working with adult women with domestic violence, sexual trauma, Asian American or Pacific Islander, grief and loss, anxiety, single parenting, acculturation, and those experiencing life transitions. Infertility, generational trauma, and those experiencing distress in their family of origin are areas that my clients have sought support.
