Kindred Psychotherapy is a collaborative group of highly-skilled therapists with specialized training in a variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, grief, stage of life issues, trauma and family conflict. We know how powerful and necessary good therapy can be so we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, effective treatment to all of our clients. We all work with adults and elders through individual therapy and some of us also offer individual and joint sessions with children, adolescents, and couples.
Our work with our clients draws upon psychodynamic theories and evidence-based methods of treatment including Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). We coordinate with psychiatric medication providers when clinically indicated.
We believe high-quality, individualized therapy is incredibly powerful and feel honored to offer this kind treatment to our clients. If you want to learn more, please visit our website or contact us for a free phone consultation. We offer sessions both in person and via telehealth though we have a waitlist for new clients in Cheshire.
