One of my joys in life is witnessing growth and change. And being part of another's journey is an honor and privilege. I work with adults and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, grief, depression, and difficulty managing emotions. In addition, I enjoy helping clients with career and phase of life issues.
I incorporate a number of therapeutic techniques, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness to help clients manage their emotions and relationships. I also use EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help individuals move past trauma and overcome negative beliefs that are keeping them stuck.
Above all, I consider the relationship between therapist and client to be the most important ingredient. I approach my work with humor, compassion and authenticity and strive to tailor treatment to meet the needs of the individual.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-focused group to help clients learn skills in the following areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Originally developed for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, it is also beneficial for anyone struggling with difficulty managing their emotions, impulsive behaviors, unhealthy coping skills, and relationship issues.
