Life can be really amazing. It can also feel equally challenging and confusing. Work concerns. Relationship worries. Motherhood and midlife. A desire to feel fulfilled, but feeling overwhelmed instead. We often fear that if life feels hard, we must be doing something wrong. But the reality is sometimes life truly is difficult...and we feel it. For more than two decades, I have worked with individuals seeking more out of life, but who are feeling stifled due to difficult situations, feelings, or beliefs. Whether you find yourself navigating anxiety, depression, or a challenging crossroads or transition, I welcome hearing from you.
My clinical approach is an integration of traditional talk therapy infused with more somatic (mind/body) understanding. I draw from the fields of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion, neuroscience, nervous system understanding, and research on well-being and resilience. I think you'll find me down-to-earth and nonpathologizing.
