My goal when working with individuals is to provide support as individuals find their own hopeful path and voice. Sometimes we get in a downward spiral or stuck in places where we are not fulfilled or content. I hope to facilitate and encourage your own strengths and passions towards feeling better. Additionally, I have worked with children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression. This phase of life can be quite difficult, particularly if you are struggling with peers or a mental health issue. Lastly, I enjoy working with young and LBGTQ+ adults as they navigate challenges and/or relationship issues.
With women/men and LGBTQ clients, I use feminist and narrative therapy to recognize the power society has in all of our lives and forge our therapeutic relationship from there. With children and adolescents, I include art, play, and sand tray therapy. I also believe it is important to work with the whole family to support the potential growth of these youth.
I look forward to developing an authentic relationship with you as we collaborate towards finding a path that you desire and skills that support a fulfilling life. As we all know, life can be hard and being willing to ask for help is often the first but most difficult step. I hope to make this connection and step an easy and positive experience.
