My work combines cutting-edge science with an empathetic approach that is customized to each individual. I provide evidence-based therapy so that my patients receive the treatment that is scientifically proven as the most effective option for their specific concern(s). I believe that treatment should be collaborative, and that patients should play an active role in their treatment decisions, so I involve patients in their treatment, every step of the way.
Often, people want to change, but become so overwhelmed when contemplating change that they remain stuck, frustrated, and dissatisfied. I work with my patients to make the prospect of change more accessible, and to devise strategies that allow patients to move toward change in a manner that feels achievable and less threatening.
