Whether addressing a situational life stressor, substance use, family/relationship conflicts, personal identity, or symptoms of trauma – I strive to create a judgement free, client centered environment. I have a professional history working in the areas of substance use and systemic trauma in both residential and community environments. I have an educational focus in trauma-informed care.
Processing through our experiences and their impact in our individual journey is vital in becoming our complete and desired self. It is my passion to assist clients through that personal process. I hold space for you to identify what you can control and work together to learn how you can cope with and set boundaries to address the things you cannot control.
As a special needs mother to a child on the autism spectrum, and an LGBTQ+ identifying daughter, I am an advocate in all areas of my life. I am a parent in a blended, multi-racial family, and attempt to create a balance with my family, my partner, and my own personal self-care. I believe it is part of my journey to assist others in finding a similar balance.
