Finding the right therapist is perhaps the most important step in the therapy process. A trusting relationship allows clients to feel safe when exploring deeper issues and taking risks. I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment for each of my clients. Using an integrative approach, I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be grappling with life transitions or struggling with symptoms such as anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or relationship issues.
It is my honor to work with survivors of trauma, abuse, or neglect. In a safe, supportive environment, we will work to understand how symptoms of trauma (eg, anxiety, depression, & dissociation) are impacting your life. I will help you to learn healthy and effective coping tools, develop more self compassion, and gain self confidence in order to heal.
Having worked in both private practice and university settings has given me 20 years of experience and a passion for this work. No matter what the underlying concern, I am dedicated to helping each client find a way to feel empowered and live life to the fullest.
