First and foremost, my primary goal includes establishing a strong therapeutic rapport and understanding your unique goals, as well as how your personal history impacts your current level of functioning. Ultimately, I hope that you will "graduate" from therapy after learning and practicing new coping strategies. My clinical focus is strengths based and eclectic, and I tend to assign homework (which may include reading, writing, or other behavioral tasks). If this approach appeals to you, please feel free to contact me. I see clients in person (Midlothian office, 23113) and I am also willing to see clients virtually.
