I am so glad you are here. The decision to start therapy isn't always an easy one, and you’ve already accomplished one of the hardest parts: starting the process. I want you to know that you are not alone! I specialize in shame reduction, trauma work, and living a wholehearted and authentic life. I appreciate the positive impact of creating trust and a strong rapport with my clients combined with a cognitive approach to assist you with building a connection between thoughts and feelings in order for you to evolve into the best version of yourself.
My approach is rooted in CBT, as well as utilizing DBT, ACT and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. My specific areas of focus include: anxiety, codependency, depression, communication skills, anger management, domestic violence, low self-esteem, life transitions, boundary setting, emotion regulation and traumatic experience management.
As your therapist, I pride myself on creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment utilizing empathic understanding and unconditional positive regard to support you in exploring your values to reach your desired goals. I love helping people find freedom from the traps set by anxiety, low mood or self-doubt.
