Kimberly DiOrio-Rooney is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, graduating from Rhode Island College with her MSW in 2014 and working with children, adolescents and families since then. I have experience working with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and family struggles. I am passionate about helping young people find their way when things just don’t seem right, or when life just becomes too much.
Using a creative, integrative approach, I help children and adolescents understand their emotions and help families understand any behavior they may see. I believe that everyone has the strength in them to address and overcome these obstacles and challenges.
Therapy looks different for everyone, it could be a few sessions to clear your head, or longer-term to address larger concerns and struggles. Whatever your need, I am available to help you or your loved ones get started towards a more peaceful life.
