I believe that we all have the power to heal from trauma, change negative thinking patterns, and make positive changes in our lives when we feel supported in a safe and nurturing space. My goal is to help my clients develop deeper insight and awareness of themselves to better understand the barriers that prevent their healing and growth. I work with clients of all ages to process trauma and address difficulties in social, work, and relationship functioning. These problems can include depression, anxiety, loss, low self-esteem, emotional/behavioral dysregulation and major life transitions.
I place a strong emphasis on learning to have compassion for yourself while doing this work and offer a client-centered approach in which therapy is tailored to the client's specific needs. Some of the modalities I find helpful are: CBT, Somatic techniques, DBT, Mindfulness, EMDR and Art Therapy.
My work as a clinical therapist has been deeply rewarding and I truly love what I do. I am grateful for the clients that have placed their trust in me and proud of the work we do together.
