I am IFS Level 2 trained and primarily use this psychospiritual modality in my practice. This involves taking a deep dive into the inner workings of our system, and being open to exploring mystical healing. I am also trained in IFS-informed EMDR, and sometimes blend these modalities for optimal results when working with complex trauma. I regularly facilitate six-week IFS Healing Circles.
Along with being an IFS therapist, I am also a Certified Grief Educator and certified in EMDR. I also utilize Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I approach therapy from a feminist perspective, valuing equality, empowerment, and intersectionality in addressing various mental health concerns. I offer neurodiversity-affirming therapy for ADHD.
I aim to demystify counseling by making it less about a diagnosis and more about a therapeutic relationship. I am an empathetic, open-hearted and compassionate person who will respect your values and provide a non-judgmental space to sort through complex emotions. I practice authenticity with a dose of humor, acknowledging that I, too, am doing the work.
