I specialize in helping women heal from trauma. This involves creating a safe space where you can reflect on past hurt and how it is impacting your current life. The therapy process has the power to guide you towards introspection, enabling you to discover strength, acceptance and healing. By feeling secure enough to face your inner world, your outer world will inevitably improve.

My therapeutic approach is trauma informed and often involves Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Depending on the needs of each individual client, these modalities are the basis of my overall practice.

I am a fully trained and Certified EMDR therapist who has been professionally licensed in the state of North Carolina since 2009. I have an undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill (Sociology) and a Masters degree from East Carolina University (Social Work).
