Making the choice to attend to personal or relational healing is an act of courage. The courage to show up. The courage to be seen in all the beautiful, difficult and complex parts of being human. As a fellow traveler on the road to growth, we all need help along the way. The stigma of counseling is, thankfully, moving aside and making way for us to create purposeful living as well as strong, secure relational bonds that have far reaching benefits for couples and families. I have a collaborative and humanistic approach to co-creating an environment where you feel safe, seen and honored.
I specialize in working with couples and have advanced training Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which is 1 of only 2 research-validated treatments for healing relational distress or disconnect. Additionally, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, completed the 2017-2018 Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies and am fully trained in EMDR.
My goal is to help you create movement in aspects of life that are painful, holding you back or keeping you from loving connection. Through our journey together, my hope is that you will begin to discover that you are and have always been worthy, good enough and deserving of love, meaningful connections, and an intentional life.
