I have been a clinical mental health therapist and behavior analyst for children and adults. I have treated and helped people with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, problems with motivation and other life issues unique to each person. I have worked in schools, outpatient, inpatient and home settings.
My experience has led me to form a unique and diverse system for identifying and assessing challenging behavior patterns. I value the human experience and understand that just because a problem is identified, change is not automatic. Understanding patterns that maintain behavior requires asking the right questions.
As your therapist my role is to see you and help you feel comfortable and at ease knowing that you don’t need to know what to do or how to do this “therapy” thing. I’m going to make it my mission to help you figure that out. Because therapy is defined by its effects or else it isn’t therapy to you.
