I am a Licensed psychotherapist with experience in behavioral health. I treat adults, adolescents, and couples who are experiencing difficulty with anxiety, depression, divorce, relationships, anger, loss and trauma. I am also a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug counselor. I work with individuals and families who are experiencing addiction difficulties in their lives. Together our goal is to change maladaptive thinking and behaviors through a therapeutic process in a safe and nurturing environment. Combining Twelve- Step philosophy and traditional and integrative therapies, clients undergo a comprehensive discharge planning process that ensures they will have a strong recovery.
I am devoted to the field of positive psychology and prevention by promoting personal self-awareness/self-growth and offering support to people dealing with change during common life transitions such as entering college, divorce process, grief & loss.
I am one of only a few Therapists in the area who is Licensed to treat the needs of the individual and family, as well as licensed in treating the specific needs of individuals and families with substance abuse issues.
