I have a passion for working with children, teens, and families to assist with various life stressors that may be present. Taking the first step is one of the most difficult to take. Seeking help can be overwhelming, stressful, or bring up various emotions, but once the step is taken you will be greeted with compassion, support, and empathy. Children and adolescents are often times forgotten about or even overlooked, but I believe their mental health is just as important as others.
I received my Masters of Arts degree from LaGrange College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am currently a doctoral student at Tennessee State University in the Counseling Psychology program. I have experience working with both children and families that have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, divorce, and life changes.
I am always intentional when it comes to showing up consistently, being understanding, displaying empathy, and being supportive in every way to help all clients reach their goals.
