Having the courage to seek therapy is never easy. One may feel hopeless, vulnerable, frustrated and unable to cope without outside help. While working in an inpatient psychiatric facility, it has allowed me to work extensively with anxiety, depression, bipolar, mood disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, domestic violence, etc. I work with my clients to identify areas of their life that are causing suffering, collaboratively identifying effective ways to manage and reduce emotional pain. I utilize both warmth and validation with evidence-based behavioral change strategies.
I believe in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, trauma informed therapy and strength based approaches. I am very approachable and sincerely care about helping you gain clarity and insight while progressing towards developing the skills necessary to independently problem solve in the future.
I provide individual, couples and family therapy. I provide a secure and safe, open-minded space for you to express your feelings along with present or past issues.
