I consider myself a realist. That is one of the things I love about therapy. I love helping my clients accept a situation as it is and learn to deal with it accordingly. I strive to help my clients find a path of healing, enlightenment, & empowerment to love themselves beyond their current challenges, and to accept themselves as they are in their challenges.
I have extensive clinical experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use/abuse. Before my transition to eating disorder treatment, I worked with individuals with severe and persistent mental health concerns, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans, and youth.
I am passionate about helping my clients empower themselves, to stand in their truth, while building a life worth living. I strive to provide a safe space for my clients to open up, to feel heard, and to be supported.
