Navigating issues can be challenging sometimes. You may just need someone to be there for you and walk through difficult challenges and obstacles in life. I approach clients with compassion and empathy in any situation they may be facing. I work with a variety of age groups ranging from adolescents on up. I also treat a variety of different conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. I believe that by working together, we can achieve the goals you want to reach.
I offer a client-centered approach to therapy, which is specific to each of my client's needs. Some modalities I incorporate into our sessions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I seek to provide a comfortable space where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts and feelings.
When you work with me, we will collaborate and set attainable goals that are specific to you and your situation. Some of our work together may include learning and implementing effective coping skills, identifying your emotions, improving relationships, and gaining insight so that not only are you successful in therapy but also upon discharge.
