I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and completed my formal educational training at Fresno State University in 2013. I continued my training at an inpatient perinatal substance abuse program treating children, adults, couples, and families and continued to work their post-degree. Specific treatment areas included trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and co-dependency.
My leading theoretical approach lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) due to its effective teaching and action-oriented components. While CBT is highly effective, I am also keenly aware that there isn't a "one size fits all" approach. Therefore, the treatment I provide is tailored to my client's unique needs.
I welcome my clients with a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space to begin their journey toward healing. I believe that true progress comes from working collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and begin building a "tool chest" of coping skills to move forward in life.
