With several years experience working with families, parents, and adolescents in both community and clinic settings, I have had the opportunity of working with people in all walks of life. Thus far in my career, I have found working with underserved and marginalized populations to be most rewarding. A key part of my counseling style is helping clients shift their focus from what they cannot control and centering in on what they can. Clients will take away from our sessions the ability to identify healthy ways to work through conflicts within themselves as well as with their children, parents, peers, etc.
With a combination of humor, active listening, silence (the most important work happens in silence), and empathy I aim to provide a safe supportive space for you to identify and achieve your goals. Please note, accountability is important - I will call you out as needed, because I would be doing you a disservice if I did not!
