Hello, I am Kevin Yaori and I am licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy, LMFT 147564. I focus on treating clients with symptoms of anxiety, depression, life transition, grief/trauma, poor coping skills (addiction), and Relationship problems. I have a Person-Centered light-hearted humor approach with Solution Focus, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy.
My approach to goal setting with clients is collaboratively creating goals based on the client’s needs and hopes for treatment. Together, we will identify attainable goals that will guide treatment. Clients are encouraged to share their thoughts so clients can create flexibility in creating realistic attainable goals.
The first session will usually consist of a brief overview of the therapeutic process and an explanation of the legal guidelines for your safety. After that, I create an open non-judgmental space for clients to share about their stories that lead toward therapy.
