My name is Dr. Kerry Pitter. I am a licensed psychologist in NY & NJ. I serve as the Clinical Director of Progressive Option Support Services. At times, people experience frustration, confusion, conflicts and stresses which appear to be insurmountable. Our team of therapists are trained to address a myriad of mental health issues.
Our practice primarily uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy and closely related subtypes to address unhelpful patterns of thinking. Cognitive behavioral therapy can allow clients to learn effective skills to improve their functioning and decrease stress. CBT has demonstrated positive outcomes in decreasing symptoms of anxiety and depression in adults & children.
