Welcome to my page and congratulations on taking this step in your mental health journey! It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. My name is Kerri Hubacker and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 7 years of experience. My counseling style is compassionate and collaborative. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion. My approach is trauma informed and combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, existential, and person centered therapies.
I hold special training in EMDR and therapeutic gaming. I strive to create an environment of psychological safety that encourages clients to learn how to fully be and express themselves while being met with acceptance, as they work toward self-defined meaningful goals. Treatment plans are client centered and therapist guided.
