I use an interactive style when doing therapy, guiding and empowering clients to trust the wisdom received from the unconscious, and to use that wisdom with awareness. In this way, we facilitate the individuation process together. Individuation continually returns the individual identity--the Ego--to a healthy intimacy with the Self, the core of our being. Remembering the Self always and everywhere makes consciousness your ally and your life an adventure. In our therapeutic collaboration, we employ dream interpretation, active imagination, and other methods for working with hidden, unconscious material. As Jung has written, "(one becomes enlightened) by making the darkness conscious."
I received my analyst's diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago, where I am a training analyst. My work has been influenced by postdoctoral study in theology and scripture, the western mystical and mystery traditions, and the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff and P. D. Ouspensky.
